This Beatle Still Rocks!

Georgia picked up the latest issue of Origin Magazine recently at Whole Foods. This is the first time either of us had seen this magazine. They call themselves “The Conscious Lifestyle Magazine” and I can say that the content lives up to that claim. It’s a great mix of articles about activism, interviews with celebrities, articles about lifestyle, profiles of all kinds of interesting people, and thoughtful commentary.
If you find it on a newsstand somewhere I think it’s definitely worth picking up and taking a look at. For us, one interview in particular was a standout: a brief question and answer with former Beatle Paul McCartney. This is a man who certainly has done his share of “seeing it all” and experiencing the world. He is articulate and thoughtful and, to be honest, I could have easily quoted every single one of his answers in the article. But this particular one had the greatest impact for us. He lays it out in such a perfect way how by living a compassionate plant-based lifestyle all of us can have tremendous impact. At 72, McCartney is still entertaining, touring, and challenging us all to work for a better life for the planet. Rock on Paul and thanks for the inspiration!
