Here come the cucumbers! 🌱
Aren’t these tiny baby cucumbers, so sweet? These are growing on a cucumber plant that’s only a few weeks in our tower garden. We LOVE our Towers! not only are they easy to use and grow tons of beautiful produce, but they take a very little space. This cucumber plant is growing with about 30 other plants in less than a 3‘ x 3‘ area! 😍

A quick kale harvest from our Tower Garden ❤️🌱 While we often pick kale and immediately use it in something like a stirfry or a fresh kale salad (like “Lisa’s Kale Salad” on the blog 😍) we also do what I did today: chop it, and then place it in a large Ziploc bag for freezing. It really helps to keep up with the harvest (and the kale plants really produce once they get going) and the frozen kale is perfect for adding to a soup, a stirfry, or a delicious green smoothie.
These Towers supply us with an AMAZING amount of veggies at an incredibly low price.

Based on a study of more than 400,000 people, replacing just 3 percent of calories of animal protein with plant protein was associated with a 10 percent reduction in overall mortality risk. That comes out to be about an extra year of life, just from swapping out 3 percent of any animal protein with plant protein.
